In 2024, Madelyn was diagnosed with a stage 4 Wilms Tumor, also known as nephroblastoma, a rare kidney cancer that usually affects young children. After months of care from Sanford Children’s, including chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, Madelyn’s prognosis is good and she’s growing stronger every day.
