Caring for Kids at Marshfield Children’s

Marshfield Children’s Hospital is one of only four designated children’s hospitals in Wisconsin and a Children’s Miracle Network partner hospital, serving northcentral Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

100% of your gifts stay local to help sick and injured kids. Your donations support programs like child life and music therapy, innovative treatments and equipment, kid-friendly spaces and support services.

With your support, we can do more. We can enhance compassionate, expert care for kids at Marshfield Children’s Hospital by growing the programs and services that matter most for families.

Enhancing Local Pediatric Care

Marshfield Clinic is now part of Sanford Health, the nation’s largest nonprofit rural health system. Every dollar you give stays local to make the biggest difference for our littlest patients at Marshfield Children’s Hospital.

Latest Hospital Equipment and Technology

Your donations fund specialized equipment and innovative technology designed specifically for kids. From neonatal intensive care unit isolettes to pediatric therapy equipment, you support innovative pediatric care.

Child Life and Music Therapy

Our child life and music therapy programs, fully funded by philanthropy, provide comfort and kid-centered care. Certified child life specialists use medical play and distraction techniques to reduce the stress of medical experiences for kids, while music therapists offer healing through music.

Direct Patient Assistance

Your gifts provide financial assistance for families so they can focus on their child’s care. Donations support non-medical needs such as travel, lodging and meals along with adaptive equipment for kids with advanced medical needs.

Giving in Action: Meet Dr. Dolly Pawton

Thanks to donor support, Dr. Dolly Pawton became Marshfield Children’s Hospital’s first facility dog in November 2024. Marshfield Children’s Hospital is one of only two children’s hospitals in Wisconsin to have a facility dog. Unlike pet therapy, Dolly and child life follow a goal-directed program that helps patients cope, heal and achieve treatment goals.
