Help Meet the Increasing Demand for Behavioral Health Care

Health means wellness in every aspect, including mental health. When it comes to behavioral health, there’s much more we can do to care for patients facing depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, abuse, trauma and other struggles. There shouldn’t be a stigma against behavioral health – it affects all of us.

By pairing donors and Sanford Health services together, we can answer the call to take better care of our family, friends and neighbors.

The Need

Behavioral health has long been an emerging need, but since the pandemic the demand for mental health support has skyrocketed. More than 20% of Americans suffer from severe depression, and many of those are children and young adults.

Unfortunately, over 50% of people with a behavioral health need never receive mental health treatment, leaving them to navigate a health crisis on their own. When you give to behavioral health, you give for more than emotional support and treatment — you give for solutions.

Outreach & Virtual Care

Our goal: to improve access to behavioral health services through virtual care and outreach services in rural areas.
