Child’s Voice team inspires a $240,000 gift to expand services

Sanford Child’s Voice, a nationally accredited Child Advocacy Center, will soon add a much-needed position to its team, thanks to a gift of gratitude from the Seed for Success Foundation through the Sanford Health Foundation.

The $240,000 gift, which was inspired by the “devoted and passionate” Child’s Voice staff will fulfill a long-held dream to add a full-time behavioral health therapist position to the team. The position will help provide crucial on-site mental health support services to children and families in crisis.

“The Seed for Success Foundation has a vision of a future where everyone has a chance to create successful outcomes in their lives,” said Marianne Von Seggern of the Seed for Success Foundation. “The work of Sanford Child’s Voice, where all are guardians of good, will impact the outcomes of the lives of children who pass through their doors.”

The gift was presented to Child’s Voice as part of a surprise celebration to recognize the team’s tireless efforts to protect the safety and well-being of local kids. Special thanks was given to Child’s Voice nurse Stef Bull, whom the Seed for Success Foundation honored as a Guardian Angel through its gift.

“Stef Bull is one of those angels who touches the lives of children through her work at Child’s Voice,” Von Seggern said. “Her passion for children, the quality of their lives and the happiness they each deserve is both remarkable and sustaining.”
