Together, we’re powering new insights, driving breakthroughs and providing patients and families with world-class, comprehensive care close to home in the Bemidji region. We’re saving more lives thanks to the addition of the new PET/CT digital imaging system at the Sanford Joe Lueken Cancer Center and the regions first Mobile Mammography Unit.

Today, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide, impacting one in eight women during their lifetime. If you or someone you love has faced the fear and uncertainty of a breast cancer diagnosis, you know how difficult and painful the road to remission can be. But together, we can make the journey easier. Together, we can improve access to lifesaving screenings, accelerate advances in care and research and give strength and support to local patients fighting this devastating disease right now. To those of you who already support the Sanford Joe Lueken Cancer Center — including our new Mobile Mammography Unit — please know how grateful we are for your generosity. If you are looking for a way to get involved, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is the perfect time to make a difference. The local events planned across our community aren’t just symbolic — they make a real impact for patients and families when it matters most.
