The Future of Cancer Care

Since the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center opened in 1990, its lifesaving mission has not changed, but cancer treatment and the needs of our patients have. Last year alone, our Nurse Navigators welcomed 4,004 new cancer patients to our care teams and today, we are treating nearly 400 children with pediatric cancers.

The Peltier Lodge

Home to North Dakota’s only Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Program, the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center has become a regional destination for care. Today, nearly 50% of our patients travel more than 60 miles to visit us for the most advanced cancer care and treatment options, including allogenic bone marrow transplants and cutting-edge CAR-T cell immunotherapy.

A Home Away from Home

For patients and loved ones who are far from home, cancer treatment and outpatient care can take a toll — physically, emotionally and financially.

Together, we can ease these burdens for cancer patients and their families.

With your support, we can move forward on the Peltier Lodge, an on-campus lodging facility designed to provide patients and their families with a home away from home during treatment and throughout their outpatient care and monitoring.
