2020 Sanford International: ticket sales, volunteer opportunities now open

June 23, 2020

The third annual Sanford International Presented by Cambria will play on as scheduled! Join us from Sept. 7 through 13, at the Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls, S.D.

While some things may look a little different, with COVID-19 protections and precautions in place, expect the same family-friendly fun that this PGA TOUR Champions event is known for.

Proceeds and events throughout the week will benefit Sanford Children’s and Sanford World Clinic through the Sanford Health Foundation. 100% of funds raised will help care for kids and families in our local communities and around the world.

Meet our 2020 ambassador

The Sanford International, in partnership with the Sanford Health Foundation, has named 10-year-old Ben Wieman from Madison, S.D., as the 2020 Sanford Children’s Hospital Ambassador.

Ben has been fighting leukemia since 2017. He celebrated his final cancer treatment two months ago — just in time to find out about this honor. As an ambassador, he’ll be representing all kids who rely on Sanford Children’s as well as Sanford World Clinic, the tournament’s beneficiaries through the Sanford Health Foundation.

Ben has always inspired us. We know he’ll inspire you, too.

Stay safe

Tournament organizers will continue to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 and make adjustments as necessary. The Sanford International is including several COVID-19 protections and precautions throughout the week of the tournament, including the following:

  • Increased hand sanitizer dispensers, hand-washing stations and dispersion of masks in key areas.
  • Additional food safety protocols including eliminating self-serve buffets, increased pre-packaged options and encouraging cashless transactions.
  • Hospitality venues cleaned and sanitized regularly. Re-configuring seating to encourage social distancing measures.
  • Shuttles sanitized after every drop-off. Additional shuttles provided to accommodate sanitizing fulfillment.
