February 24, 2021

Scheels believes in supporting the communities they serve, especially when it comes to youth development and sports. The Sanford Health Foundation is excited to announce the recent gift of $120,000 from Scheels to support programs and services at Sanford POWER in Bismarck.

“This generous donation gives us the opportunity to grow, expand and improve the training services and programs we offer the Bismarck community,” says Chris Rivinius, Sanford POWER manager. “It will help us continue to push our mission to provide the highest quality training in the region in a positive, high-energy environment with the best resources for an athlete to continue holistic growth and development.”

Scheels’ gift will support programs and services at Sanford POWER, including training for a variety of sports including hockey, baseball, soccer, basketball and football training, the annual Sanford POWER Speed Camp, strength and agility conditioning and so much more.

“Athletic development for the youth in our community is one of our top priorities,” says Tyler Halm, Scheels Store Leader. “We are proud to be able to support the Bismarck-Mandan community in this way.”

Scheels joins a growing list of philanthropic partners, including the family of Ben Berg, City Air Mechanical, the McQuade Family and Dr. Michael and Michelle LeBeau. Their support ensures that top-notch training is available to young athletes in our community.

Thank you, Scheels, for your support of the Bismarck community!
