Between a Hawaiian luau, a day at the pitch and a barrel racing competition, these summer events raised more than $117,500 in August and September. Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers and donors who made these event possible.
Go Hawaiian for Hospice
The third annual Go Hawaiian for Hospice, organized by Choice Financial, raised more than $68,000 for Sanford Hospice. Nearly 700 meals were served at the August 7 event.
In three years, the luau has raised more than $200,000 to help preserve and expand hospice in our community.
Bismarck Larks Home Run for Life
Pediatric cancer patients and their families run the bases during the game.
The Bismarck Larks honored the journeys of local childhood cancer patients and their families during a sold-out game on August 12. The event raised more than $4,500 for Brave Kids Bold Cures.
Funds raised at the event stay local and support kids fighting cancer at Sanford Children’s in Bismarck.
Cowgirls for a Cure
At the inaugural Cowgirls for a Cure, attendees enjoyed a high-energy barrel racing competition and learned about local efforts to enhance patient care and research to end breast cancer.
With 134 riders fundraising their registration fees, the event raised more than $45,000 for the Edith Sanford Breast Center in Bismarck.
