Medical Center welcomes first patients

July 20, 2017

This week is unbelievably exciting in Fargo – the new Sanford Medical Center Fargo opened its doors early Tuesday morning to patients for the first time.

This moment has been years in the making, ever since Sanford Health and MeritCare merged in 2009. At that time, Sanford Health President and CEO Kelby Krabbenhoft made a promise to construct this historic facility.

The new Sanford Medical Center Fargo will include:

  • Family Birth Center
  • NICU
  • Pediatrics
  • PICU
  • Emergency Services
  • Trauma
  • Heart surgery
  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Neurosurgery

Take a tour of this amazing facility with Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, and actor Josh Duhamel in this video.
