Fred Fridley has accepted the role of executive director for the Sanford Health Foundation West Region. In addition to this new role, Fridley will remain in his current positions as director of Sanford POWER in Bismarck and senior public affairs specialist for the Sanford Health Bismarck region.

As executive director, Fridley will oversee development efforts, donor relations and community engagement for the Sanford Health Foundation in central and western North Dakota. He will work closely with the Sanford Bismarck leadership team in guiding fundraising efforts and strategy. He will also assume a leadership role with the Sanford Health Foundation West Region Board of Directors.
“We are thrilled to have Fred join our Foundation team,” said Bobbie Tibbetts, Sanford Health Foundation vice president. “During his time at Sanford, Fred has established great relationships throughout central and western North Dakota that will continue to serve him well in his new development and leadership position.”
Fridley, a native of Watford City, N.D., joined Sanford as the director of public affairs in 2012. Prior to joining Sanford, Fridley was the head women’s basketball coach and an associate professor of health at the University of Mary.
Fridley received a master’s degree in education and athletic administration from North Dakota State University. He lives in Bismarck with his wife, Lisa, and has two daughters, Ella and Eden.
