The Fargo Force will host the third annual Sanford Children’s Night at Scheels Arena on Feb. 22. All funds raised through ticket sales, jersey auction and chuck-a-puck purchases will help care for our local sick and injured kids.
This year, the Force will hit the ice wearing jerseys designed by Grantley Johnson, a 7-year-old who passed away Feb. 6 after fighting a very aggressive form of cancer.
“We’ll all be #TeamGrantley on Feb. 22,” said Hillery Mork, the development manager for the Sanford Health Foundation. “I know the stands will be packed and the Force will play their hearts out to honor Grantley’s journey and his incredible spirit.”
Last year, Sanford Children’s Night raised nearly $18,000 for Sanford Children’s. The jersey auction alone raised just under $16,000.
Funds raised stay local to support family services and unique programs, provide education and help purchase lifesaving equipment and technology to save and transform lives, close to home.
