Cowboy Up Ride Against Cancer
August 19, 2022 – August 20, 2022
This annual event will bring hundreds together for trail rides, family fun, great food and more in the small town of McLeod, North Dakota, located in the heart of the Sheyenne National Grasslands.
Since 2004, the dedicated riders, their families and friends have gathered for one mission: to help local cancer patients and their families at the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center. On Saturday, you can hear from Cindy Erbes, a local survivor who will share her story about facing colon cancer at Roger Maris. You can read part of her story now.
FRIDAY, AUG. 19
Watch the Extreme Race, an obstacle course on a horse.
SATURDAY, AUG. 20
Saturday is full of activities, including the trail ride, silent auction, live auction, kids carnival, corn hole tournament, speakers and dinner prepared by NDSU. The evening ends with street dance.
All proceeds go to the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center.
