Erin Sanderson has a passion for patients, their families and our community. Having been with the Sanford Health Foundation team for six years, Erin recently transitioned into the role of executive director for the Sioux Falls region.
Previously Erin served as development manager where she consistently met and exceeded goals and took our fundraising programs to new heights, nearly doubling revenue during her time at Sanford.
“Her ability to build strong and lasting relationships with donors and families and her existing relationships with Sanford employees, executives and physician leaders will set her up for success and a seamless transition into this new role,” said Deb Koski, senior executive director of Foundation development.
Erin is a graduate of Leadership Sioux Falls, but her recognition extends past our community. She was named Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals International Foundation Person of the Year in 2018, honoring her fundraising success, overall commitment to patients and families, creative and strategic ideas and innovation.
“We have an incredible mission to represent at Sanford, and the fact that I get to play any role in that makes me feel incredibly blessed,” Erin said. “I get to see our Sanford family and community come together to do big things each and every day for our patients and their families. It’s truly remarkable.”
Erin and her husband, Bryan, live in Tyler, Minn., with their two children Rohry and Sydney. She maintains a strong connection to the Sioux Falls community.
Join us in congratulating Erin on her new role!
