Casey’s General Store customers are the best

Thank you to everyone in North Dakota and western Minnesota who donated during Casey’s General Stores Miracle Balloon Campaign. Store managers, staff and customers rallied like never before during the annual campaign in February to support Children’s Miracle Network at Sanford Children’s Fargo.

Together, they raised $28,625 for the sick and injured children at Sanford Children’s Hospital — more than doubling their 2017 fundraising efforts.

Customers who donated at least $1 had the opportunity to place a Miracle Balloon icon on the wall. In return, they received coupons for donuts and iced tea.

“This was a tremendous campaign year,” said Emily McDaniel, development officer for Children’s Miracle Network. “Right from the start, District Manager Belinda Bye set the bar quite high.”

McDaniel said area supervisors and store managers teamed up and surpassed their goal within two and a half weeks, and continued to campaign for the kids until the very end.

“It’s so much fun working with a team that’s excited about helping make a difference for local kids,” she said.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the campaign. Every dollar will stay local and help make miracles happen for kids!
